"The One That Gets Slapped"
L8RG8R2U (Justin R. James) is a 26-year old Let's Player known for his love for video games, random references, spontaneous singing and whatever else he does while recording videos. G8R's love for gaming became what it is today after he was inspired to make videos by various YouTubers (one of which being SuperSkarmory).
G8R has made over thirty Let's Plays on his own channel since its debut in 2012. While he primarly focuses on Nintendo games such as The Legend of Zelda, Splatoon or Pikmin, he doesn't limit his channel to only Nintendo. Such as Tomb Raider, Portal, or more recently Spyro the Dragon. G8R usually has a couple of ongoing projects at the same time, so there's usually something on his channel for everyone. Some LPs he's currently working on include uploading every Splatfest from Splatoon 2, and a 100% guide through The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (which took nearly three years to plan out).
Aside from Let's Plays, G8R also streams under the series G8RStreams, which includes entire playthroughs and a show called Random Number Gaming, where G8R uses an RNG counter to decide what games he'll play throughout the stream. The Gaming Gallery (a series of videos discussing gaming trivia) also originally started on G8R's channel before being moved to G.A.M.E.
G8R met GreenCobrasGaming in 2014 during his Super Mario Galaxy 2 Let's Plays. TheJamesRolls was one of the first Let's Players G8R watched, and the two would later become friends during Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (which is one of the reasons it was the first versus on G.A.M.E). And G8R met Pancake on Miiverse. Many of the first collab videos between the four friends were uploaded on G8R's channel before G.A.M.E was created.
Outside of YouTube, L8RG8R2U is also the published author of Korbet Adventures: Thunder on the Mountain. He's currently writing three more books including Yeti Man: The Beast of Seaport, Korbet Adventures: Lightning in a Bottle, and a currently unannounced third book. G8R has also hinted that he's been working on developing a video game in his own time. More details on this will be revealed at a later time.
Some of my current goals: Let's Play every 3D Zelda game, inspire somebody to make videos, visit every DIsney theme park, publish every Buenayam novel and own a giant Mr. Saturn plushie!
